Protocol Fee

Protocol fee is a fee that participants pay for using the Chromatic Protocol. A certain portion of the trading fee paid by taker to maker can be charged as a protocol fee. Collected protocol fees are transferred to the Chromatic DAO Treasury.

Until Trade Reward Program season #1 ends, the protocol fee is set to 50%. However, in the future, the protocol DAO can determine whether to activate/ deactivate the protocol fee, and can also adjust the protocol fee range per-market basis.
